Polish passport – USA Visa

Foreigners can obtain work visas for the US, without any time limit - if they have a European passport.
Do you have a Polish passport? If so, you can open a business and live in the United States. An investment of a few tens of thousands of dollars will grant you a special E-2 visa, which will allow you to work in the States for the rest of your life.

Foreigners have always tried every way possible to obtain work permits or immigrant visas to the United States, in an effort to realize their dream of making money in the land of unlimited opportunities. Now, it seems, some of them have found an original way to obtain the longed-for visa - with the help of their Eastern European roots.

In the past two years, since many East European countries joined the European Union, many people with roots in one of these countries have invested great effort in obtaining citizenship and a passport from that country. They were motivated by the hope of gaining the opportunity to work all over Europe, but there is another benefit to be gained from such a passport - the possibility of living and working in the United States.

Not many know this, but the United States government has signed a treaty with some countries around the world, including Poland, granting citizens of those countries American work permits for life. The visa, named E-2 by the US State Department, can be obtained relatively easily, but with one basic condition - you have to invest around $50,000 in a business in the United States and to hold at least 50% of the business. Surprisingly, and in total contrast to the difficulties the Americans make for those applying for an entry visa or a Green Card, all you need to do to obtain an E-2 visa is to go to an American Embassy with receipts attesting to the fact that the relevant amount has been invested in a business there.

Nevertheless, those who try to jump on the bandwagon will find themselves facing a stiff obstacle. While some countries around the world have signed the treaty not all of them have done so. This is where a polish citizenship comes into play. Poland has signed the treaty with United States and therefore a holder of a Polish passport can obtain the E-2 visa.

In fact, quite a few people have recently discovered this road to success. After obtaining Polish citizenship, they present their shiny new passport to the American Embassy, and, instead of asking for a tourist visa, they fill out a form for an E-2 visa. This is a very convenient visa, which offers free entry to the United States, and the opportunity to work there for an unlimited period.
